Nottingham Advanced Motorcyclists formed in 1989 with the aim of improving road safety for motorcyclists in the Nottinghamshire area.

We are a registered charity (number 1060035) run by an annually elected committee many of whom are bikers.

We are more than just a training group though. We are a busy club that offers its 120+ members a wide range of activities including group events and ride-outs throughout the year. We hold our Club Night on the last Wednesday of each month where we regularly have a guest speaker from an aspect of the motorcycle industry. You might like to join us for a chip shop or pub ride out mid-week. We also run 200+ miles ride outs at the weekend, for example to the coast, Wales or Yorkshire and we organise weekends away too.

Our members come from all walks of life. If you ride a sports bike, tourer, cruiser or scooter; a Ducati, Triumph, Honda or Burgman, and whether you are new to biking or a seasoned veteran who has swallowed hundreds of flies over the years you will be amongst friends.

If you are interested in improving your skills, becoming more confident on the road and getting more enjoyment out of riding your bike, go ahead, drop us an email or call us and have a chat. You can come along to one of our Club Nights too if you’d like to learn more.

You may also like to have a Taster Session with us were we will take you for an Observed Ride and give you some feedback on your riding – for free!

Everybody thrives on a personal challenge involving what they love doing, and enjoys good company with like-minded people, so why not get on your bike and come and take a look at us.

It’s great fun. After all, that is what motorcycling is all about!
